POLICE are searching for a man who stole a ring worth £3,000 from a jewellers in North Road, Lancing.
The man asked to look at the ring at 3.40pm on Monday (April 30) before running out of the shop.
He is described as white, aged approximately 20 years old, about 6ft 3in tall, of slim build with a pale complexion.
He had distinctive bright orange hair cut in a short style.
He was wearing a smart black suit jacket, white open necked shirt, white t-shirt, smart dark trousers, black shoes, and he spoke with a local accent.
The stolen ring is described as a distinctive large 18-carat yellow gold ring with several different cut diamonds in an oblong setting.
