A 17-YEAR-OLD boy received cuts and bruising to his face when he was attacked by three other teenagers in Worthing on Sunday (March 11).
The victim was walking along South Farm Round, Broadwater, at around 8.20pm when he was approached by the three suspects who asked him for money. When he refused, he was slapped repeatedly in the face.
PC Matthew Welch said: “We are still investigating the circumstances that led up to this incident. The victim was taken by ambulance to Worthing Hospital for treatment to a cut above his eye and has since been discharged.
Two of the suspects are described as white, around 17 years old and around 5ft7in to 5ft8in. One is of slim build with spiky hair and glasses, the other of medium build with very short, light-coloured hair. A Staffordshire Bull Terrier on a lead was with one of the suspects.
There is no description for third suspect.
