CIGARETTES worth £1,000 were stolen from a lorry which was parked outside a Goring newsagent.
A group of four men dressed in balaclavas approached the 40-year old lorry driver, who was unloading supplies outside a newsagents in Wallace Parade, at about 6.50am on Wednesday, January 12.
The men then boarded the lorry to steal the cigarettes and drove away in a dark coloured Renault Megane saloon.
No weapons were seen and the driver was not assaulted.
Detective Constable Andy Hobden said: “We would like to hear from anyone who was up and about in the Goring area early on Wednesday morning and who may have seen what happened or saw the car beforehand or driving away afterwards.
