FIREFIGHTERS attended two arson attacks in Lancing last night (Wednesday, December 28).
At 7.47pm, crew visited St John’s Court in Penstone Park to extinguish a wheelie bin which had been deliberately set alight.
Shortly after, at 8.39pm, firefighters attended a small fire in St David’s Gate in Penstone Close, where a car cover had been set on fire.
However, the crew did not have to take any action as the fire had already gone out upon their arrival. After inspection, the team estimated the care had suffered five per cent damage.
No one was injured in either of the incidents.
