Cyclist left for dead after Worthing hit and run

A cyclist was knocked off his bike in the early hours of this morning in a hit and run incident in Brighton Road, Worthing.

The man, thought to be in his 40s, was cycling at 3.40am on Sunday when he was hit.

He suffered a fractured skull and a bleed on the brain and was taken to Worthing Hospital.

His condition is unknown.

Police are keen to speak to anyone who may have seen the incident.
