GIRLS from Davison High School have raised more than £2,500 for the Chestnut Tree House children’s hospice.

The girls visited the hospice in December, and were inspired to make it their charity of the year.

The money was raised by the school’s ten community prefects who held a variety of community activities, including a talent show and a pink superhero mufti day.

Tanya Roberts, the school’s community manager, said: “When pupils leave Davison and move on towards adulthood, we hope that they will leave us knowing that they have made a real difference to the lives of many people.”
