Detectives given extra 12 hours to quiz missing Ferring woman's husband

THE husband of missing Ferring woman Elaine Taggart remains in custody today (Thursday, April 10) after police asked for another 12 hours to question him.

Andy Taggart, 43, was arrested yesterday (Wednesday, April 9] on suspicion of murder when police visited the family home in Ferringham Lane, Ferring.

A 12-hour extension was granted by senior police officers this morning, "to enable further questioning".
