A MOTORIST charged with drink-driving twice in two months is to appear in court.
Harrisson Constable, 24, of Brighton Road, Lancing, was arrested at 8pm on Sunday after he was found near a damaged car in Westbrook Way, Southwick.
He had been arrested on a previous occasion for drink driving.
His car had crashed off the A27 and into a hedge at the Mill Hill bridge in Shoreham on April 2.
Constable was charged with drink-driving, driving without insurance and possession of an axe, all on June 8.
He was also charged with drink-driving and driving without insurance on the A27 at Shoreham, both on April 2.
He was released on police bail to appear before magistrates at Worthing Magistrates’ Court on September 23.
Constable is one of three more Sussex drivers to be charged with offences as part of Operation Dragonfly, Sussex Police’s crackdown on drink and drug-related driving across the county.
