Durrington High School held its annual carol service at St Andrew’s Church in Tarring on Monday December 14.
The evening started with a welcome performance from the concert band as the congregation started to arrive.
A full church saw the school choirs, junior and senior, perform a number of traditional Christmas carols.
As well as the carols, there was also heard a selection of readings from students.
Assistant head teacher Peter Kelly said: “I would like to thank Ms Isham, Miss Maughan and Mr Stathers for all their hard work in preparing the students for the service as well as everyone from St Andrew’s church who once again made us feel welcome and gave up a lot of time to help get the church ready.
“A retiring collection was held for Worthing Churches Homeless charity.”
