Awards for year 11 leavers presented

Chatsmore Catholic High School has welcomed the 2016 year 11 leavers back for an evening celebration.

Each student was presented with GCSE certificates and there were awards in each subject for effort, achievement and progress.

Five annual awards were made to honour each of Chatsmore’s head teachers. Winners were Georgie Bambridge for academic achievement through effort, Jasmine Day for outstanding progress, Sean Goulding for teamwork, Luke Greenwood for musical talent and James Donlevy for commitment to school life.

Chatsmore Student of the Year was Fintan King, whon had the best exam results of the entire year group.

The Lucy Goulding Award, presented in loving memory of a former student, was presented to Thembe Moyo for being an outstanding ambassador for the school.

The award recognises strong work ethics, great effort leading to good progress, a caring approach and involvement in the spiritual life of the school.
