GCSE RESULTS: Our Lady of Sion

ANOTHER set of outstanding GCSE results were achieved by students at Our Lady of Sion School today (Thursday, August 25)..

More than a quarter of this year’s results, 27.24 per cent, were A*s, while those graded A* and A amounted to 61.38 per cent. Every pupil gained five or more passes at A* to C.

Peter Baker, careers co-ordinator for the Gratwicke Road school, said: “This year we have another excellent pass rate for the school. Well done to year 11. We are very pleased to see the hard work and determination of so many students was well rewarded, providing a solid foundation for the next stage in their education.”

In total this year, the school’s 50 year 11 pupils gained a 97.6 per cent pass rate for grades A* to C, just a fraction less than last year’s 97.9 per cent pass rate.
