AN ACADEMY has been branded a failure and placed into special measures following a damning Ofsted report.
The Sir Robert Woodard Academy, in Upper Boundstone Lane, has been told it is not giving students “an acceptable standard of education”.
Inspector Alan Taylor-Bennett said too much teaching was “not good enough” and that the feedback pupils were getting on their work was “inaccurate”.
