Worthing nursery go walk about
YOUNGSTERS at a Worthing nursery went for a "walkodile" to promote road safety.
Little Monkeys nursery, in Grosvenor Road, took a walk using a new child safety system called Walkodile.
Up to six children wear a high visibility harness which links them via a secure two-way connector to a flexible, central spine.
Lyn Povey, from Little Monkeys, said: "The main reason we wanted Walkodile as a resource was to make sure the children in our care were as safe as possible.
"It helps to make the outing better for everyone and the children really enjoy a trip in Walkodile singing the Walkodile song.
"We are very pleased to participate in this unique event as it's a great way of highlighting a very important cause like road safety."
