Worthing schoolboy wins design competition

A WORTHING schoolboy has won a competition to design the logo of a new life-coaching project.

Damian Leeding, 13, a pupil at St Andrew's School, won a 15 iTunes voucher for his "simple yet eye-catching" design featuring two interlocking jigsaw pieces.

The competition was the brainchild of life coach Claire Bradford to launch her connect:worthing project, which will feature a series of workshops and social events designed to promote self-improvement.

"I liked the way that the jigsaw pieces were used to show coming-together," said Claire.

"The colours and design were simple, yet eye-catching. I'm excited about using Damian's design for the project."

The logo is already in use on the project's facebook page (connect : worthing) and will soon be featuring on flyers and posters around the town.

The next workshop will be held on Tuesday, January 27, at 8pm in the Dolphin pub, Dominion Road.

For more information, call Claire on 01903 218736, or email her at connect@straightforwardcoaching.com
