FESTIVE food, music, gifts and entertainment will all be on the cards at this year’s Christmas market In Lancing.
The event will run alongside the Sea of Lights on December 7, and organisers hope it will draw crowds to the village.
There are expected to be more than 20 different stalls, ranging from fundraising to food tasting and everything in between.
Jewellery, handbags, hand-knitted garments, woodcrafts, clothes, pick-and-mix and hand-made sweets will be just some of the items on sale.
Singers, a brass band, a school choir and performances by Electric Storm Youth promise to keep the crowds entertained.
There will even be a chance to meet the stars of this year’s pantomime, as they join in the fun.
To top off the festive fun, Father Christmas will be there as well as the village’s very own 18ft Christmas tree.
Organiser Pam Gavan said the event was vital for bringing the community together and should be a huge success.
Pam is looking for gift donations from local businesses to make the day even more special.
This is the first time Pam has organised the event and she hopes it will go down a treat with the village.
“I am very optimistic,” she said.
Pam said local shopkeepers were delighted with how preparations were going and were looking forward to the day.
