STUNNING designs delighted visitors to Findon Village Christmas Tree Festival at the weekend.

Among the 21 trees were one marking the 75th anniversary of the Battle of Britain by Findon Church Bellringers, shining beauty ornaments by Cutting it Fine and a swimming themed display by Findon Village Swimming Pool.

Jacqui Greaney, from the festival committee, said: “One visitor was overheard saying she thought it was the best one at our church she had ever been to.

“There were almost 800 visitors over the weekend and people voted for their favourite tree. The winner will be announced tomorrow.”

The festival was held at St John the Baptist Church, Findon, on Saturday and Sunday.

As well as the trees to see, there was a children’s treasure hunt, a raffle to win a Christmas cake donated by Mary Childs, stalls and refreshments.
