Girl injured after falling from motor scooter

A 17-year-old girl was injured after falling from her motor scooter in Worthing this morning.

The girl was injured after falling from her 50cc Lintex motor scooter in Cecilian Avenue, Broadwater shortly before 9.30am today, according to Sussex Police.

She was checked at the scene by paramedics and the road was clear by 9.50am, police say.

No other vehicles or property were involved.

A spokesperson for South East Coast Ambulance Service (SECAmb) said: “We attended the scene. The patient was assessed and then discharged from the scene.”
