Girl, two, critically ill following road collision

A TWO-year-old girl is in a critical condition following a car accident in Southwick.

The little girl was in collision with a car on the A259 Albion Street shortly before 4pm yesterday (Sunday, January 29).

She was rushed to the Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton, with serious head and internal injuries, where her condition is said to be critical.

The road was closed for more than an hour while police secured evidence.

Any witnesses are asked to contact Sussex Police on 101 quoting Op Boundary.
