WORTHING’S real ice-rink is back.

The ice-rink will open in Steyne Gardens on February 5 and will stay until March 6, offering people a chance to take to the ice seven days a week.

The official opening is at 10am with former Dancing on Ice runner-up, Hollyoaks star Chris Fountain.

It is the third year the ice- rink has come to Worthing, thanks to the Town Centre Initiative and town centre manager Sharon Clarke.

Mrs Clarke said: “I am delighted that we have been able to bring the ice-rink back to Worthing for its third year and we know it will be as popular as ever.

“The ice-rink attracts people into the town from way outside our normal catchment area and often to Worthing for the first time.”

Mrs Clarke urged people to try the rink out and said February was a great month for skating as all the nearby Christmas rinks had closed and Dancing on Ice is back on our screens.
