UK Power Networks engineers are working to restore power in the Broadwater Road area after a lorry damaged part of the electricity distribution network.
About 50 customers lost power initially at 8.50am today (January 31) as a result of the road accident. A spokesman for UK Power Networks said: “In order to work safely, our engineers had to isolate supplies to another 20 customers at 12.30pm. Equipment is having to be replaced both above and below ground.”
