Jewellery stolen in Ferring burglary
POLICE are reminding residents to check all doors and windows are locked when they leave their homes following a burglary in Ferring.
The break-in happened on February 9 between 8.15am and 6pm in Meadow Way.
Numerous items of jewellery, together with other items of sentimental value, were stolen.
A police spokesperson said: “This is a timely reminder to local residents to always check that their houses are securely locked when they leave, ensuring there is no easy access to potential burglars.”
Anyone who witnessed anything suspicious in the area at the relevant times, or who recognises any of the jewellery from the photograph, is asked to contact Sussex Police on 101, quoting serial number 0032 of February 10.
