BUDDING photographers have the chance to put their snapping skills to the test by entering the Lancing Library photography competition.
The library will be 40 years old on May 6 and staff are running a photographic competition to celebrate.
The rules are very simple – take a photo of anything in Lancing that captures the imagination between now and Friday, April 4, and submit it for public vote.
There are two categories, under-18s and 18 years and over, so the whole family can take part.
All entries will be displayed at Lancing Library from Monday, April 7, where people will be able to vote for its favourite image until Friday, April 25.
The picture from each category with the most votes will be presented with a framed enlargement of their entry as part of an afternoon of birthday celebrations on Tuesday May 6.
Entry forms and a copy of the terms and conditions are available from Lancing Library, or by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org
The winning entry will also have a chance of being printed in the Herald.
