Last chance for Worthing Rotary Carnival prince and princess entrants

TIME is running out for young hopefuls to enter our Worthing Rotary Carnival prince and princess competition.

The carnival will take place on bank holiday Monday, August 27, this year, and a duo will be selected to be picked up in an open-top car to take part in the carnival processions.

The prince and princess will be donning a medal and tiara when they arrive at Steyne Gardens, to join the mayor of Worthing in presenting the winning floats with prizes. The winners will be accompanied by a female chaperone at all times, and will receive a gift voucher and a framed photo of themselves.

To get your prince or princess involved, fill in the nomination form, which is in this week’s paper (July 19), and send it, with a picture of them, to:

Rotary Prince/Princess competition, Worthing Herald, Cannon House, Chatsworth Road, Worthing, BN11 1NA, by 3pm on Monday, July 23.

All entrants must be from the Worthing area, and be between the ages of eight and 12 years old.
