Learning chief ‘excited’ by report

A LEARNING provider has seen its Ofsted score improve from ‘requires improvement’ to ‘good’ following its latest inspection.

One reason lead inspector Peter Green’s report did not find the school to be ‘outstanding’ was because attendance was not ‘consistently high enough’.

David Cottrell, the Asphaleia chief executive, said: “We make a special effort to create programmes for young people to achieve and be successful. Achieving an Ofsted grade good is an exciting achievement for all Asphaleia members and young people.
