ACCIDENTS: On West Sussex roads – with map

A CHILD was taken to hospital after an accident in Goring which is being investigated by police.

Nine-year-old hospitalised

A SCHOOLBOY cyclist was taken to hospital after an accident in Goring.

The nine-year-old boy was in collision with a vehicle in Mulberry Lane at 7.20am on Friday, March 14.

He suffered leg injuries and was taken by ambulance to Worthing Hospital.

Any witnesses to the accident should call PC Gemma Davis at Worthing police on 0845 60 70 999.

Cars hit same tree

TWO cars crashed into the same tree within an hour in separate accidents in Clapham.

The crashes happened on Long Furlong on Sunday, March 16.

The first crash led to the road being closed.

The driver was cut free and taken to hospital.

An eyewitness said nobody was injured in the second crash, after which police spoke to the driver, a woman in her late teens, driving a Renault Clio.
