Appeal for witnesses to Lancing home burglary

POLICE are appealing for witnesses to a burglary in Lancing last week.

It happened in Greet Road, Lancing, between 6pm on Friday, September 7, and 6pm on Saturday, September 8.

Detective Constable Rachel Miles from West Sussex CID said: “The occupants of the property were away on holiday when the burglary occurred. It is believed that entry was gained by forcing open a bathroom window and several items of jewellery are thought to have been stolen.

“Having your home burgled is incredibly distressing and I would appeal to anyone who has any information that could help us with our enquiries to please get in touch. Call 101 quoting serial 1484 of 8/9 or call the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
