A SPONSORED bike ride will take place in August in memory of schoolboy Jack Bray who died last month.
The 12-year-old, of Orchard Avenue, Lancing, had battled a brain tumour for two years and was given a Star Wars themed send-off by parents Andrina and Dan and sister Nicole.
They described Jack as brave and always smiling and asked people to make donations to The Brain Tumour Charity and Chestnut Tree House hospice in his memory.
The 55-mile bike ride from Portsmouth to Worthing will take place on August 24.
More than £700 has been raised for The Brain Tumour Charity.
