Bike recovered after theft

A TEENAGER had luck on his side when his stolen bike was recovered.

The bike was taken from outside Worthing High School, in South Farm Road, on Tuesday, March 9.

The 13-year-old had locked the expensive green Eastern Shovelhead bike to a fence in the school car park before 9am but on checking his bike at 2pm found it had gone.

Friends later saw someone try to sell the bike at a nearby skate park and the police were called.

Anyone with information about the theft is asked to contact police on 0845 6070 999.
