BREAKING NEWS: Sit-down protest at Durrington Tesco

SAVE Titnore Woods campaigners staged a sit-down protest at the Durrington branch of Tesco, today.

Approximately 20 protesters staged the protest picnic at the building site of the new Tesco Extra, and manned an information stall outside the existing branch of the supermarket from 1pm this afternoon (Tuesday, September 22).

Police officers were called to the peaceful protest which was treated with good humour by both sides.
