Bricks thrown at family in Worthing street attack
HALLOWE'EN thugs threw bricks at a mother and her two children after she refused to give them her handbag.
The young family's horrific ordeal took place at around 7.30pm on October 31, in Thurlow Road.
A woman and her two children were approached by three teenage boys dressed in black and wearing masks from the horror film Scream.
The boys asked the woman what was in her handbag before taking sweets from one of the children.
They then attempted to grab the handbag from the woman, which she resisted before walking away with her children.
The boys then took bricks from a nearby skip and threw them towards the woman, narrowly missing the children and nearby cars.
The boys are described as between 14 and 16 years old, wearing black hooded tops and black trousers.
One of the boys had short, mousey hair, a second had brown, cropped hair.
Anyone with any information should call PC Sam Dover at Worthing police on 0845 6070 999.
