Brighton men arrested in connection with Worthing cannabis factory

DETECTIVES investigating a cannabis factory in a Worthing industrial estate have made two arrests.

On July 23, Worthing police officers found a cannabis factory at Unit 9, Silverdale, Meadow Road, whilst responding to an intruder alarm nearby.

A large hydroponics set up was found in the premises and up to 400 Cannabis plants seized.

On Tuesday, September 6, two 28-year-old men from Brighton were arrested on suspicion of cannabis production at the site.

They were interviewed and released on police bail, pending further enquiries, until 28 October.
