Crime round up for Worthing

THERE has been a spate of vehicle crime and burglaries in Worthing in the last fortnight.

Between February 5 and February 11 eight cars and vans were targeted across the town and there were nine burglaries or attempted burglaries. Tools were stolen from three vans, in Marine, Castle and Selden wards.

On February 6 a number plate was stolen from a vehicle in Heene ward and between February 5 and 9 golf clubs were stolen from a vehicle near the town centre.

Commercial properties were the focus of the burglaries with alcohol, soft drinks, an iPad, laptop and tills being stolen.

On February 11, a mobile phone and note book computer were stolen after access was gained to a home through a letter box.
