E-mail entry now open for Worthing Rotary Carnival prince and princess competition.

THIS is the last chance for young hopefuls to enter our Worthing Rotary Carnival prince and princess competition, so the Herald have decided to open up email entry.

The carnival will take place on bank holiday Monday, August 27, this year, and a duo will be selected to be picked up in an open-top car to take part in the carnival processions.

The prince and princess will be donning a medal and tiara when they arrive at Steyne Gardens, to join the mayor of Worthing in presenting the winning floats with prizes. The winners will be accompanied by a female chaperone at all times, and will receive a gift voucher and a framed photo of themselves.

To get your prince or princess involved, send an email complete with your son or daughter’s name, your name, your address, a contact number and a picture of the young hopeful, to josh.wilkie@worthingherald.co.uk

All entries must be received by 3pm on Monday, July 23.

All entrants must be between the ages of eight and 12 years old.
