Fire at Small Dole landfill site
A TRACTOR was damaged during a fire at the Horton Landfill Site in Henfield Road, Small Dole, on Friday (June 12).
The vehicle, which was carrying a trailer of waste, was severely damaged in the blaze with 80 per cent of the tractor destroyed.
Firefighters from Steyning, Henfield and Burgess Hill were called to the site just after 12.30pm on Friday.
It is believed the fire was started accidentally.
