Fire in East Preston home
A FIRE at an East Preston home yesterday (Thursday, June 25) was caused by a washing machine.
Fire crews were called to North Lane, at about 12.50pm, where a small blaze had broken out in a ground-floor utility room.
They spent 20 minutes putting out the flames, and removing the machine from the house.
