Girl injured in Durrington hit-and-run

Police are appealing for witnesses to a hit-and-run involving a motorist and a cyclist in Durrington.

The collision occurred in Vancouver Road, close to the junction with Montreal Way, at 9.40pm on Monday (May 2).

It involved a 15-year-old girl, who was riding a pedal cycle, and a white car which police believe to be a Volkswagen Golf.

The cyclist sustained serious but not life threatening injuries and was taken to Worthing Hospital for treatment.
