Goring school pupils steam experience
IT was "all aboard" for keen science and technology students at Chatsmore High School when they were invited along to the Bluebell Railway.

Year nine students at the school in Goring Street went along to the railway in mid Sussex for a rail demo day, with the chance to tour the trains and carriage restoration works, take journeys on the Golden Arrow Pullman train and more.
The students involved were Frank Sainsbury, Emily Goodman, Alice Hodson, Max Felton, Ryan Kay, Laura Lambert, Harry De'Giovanni and Grace Keenan, and they were chosen based on their good behaviour and aptitude for science and technology.
Stephanie Leigh, the school's business manager, said: "The students are in year nine which means they have not yet chosen their GCSE subjects, or made any final decisions about their future careers.
"They also had the chance to drive the machines using special simulators."
