A charity which provides home care for adults and older people has opened a new office in Worthing.
Comfort Keepers held an celebration last month to coincide with the opening of the offices in Columbia Drive.
Following an open day, care workers were recruited and given a training induction.
Cheryl Taylor Liston, from Sompting, said: “This week’s training has been very practical – we have taken each other shopping and up and down obstacles in wheelchairs, we have worn chickpeas in our shoes like corns, shaved balloons without popping them, cleaned each other’s teeth and washed each other – and we’ve learnt a huge amount of new skills.”
