INCIDENT FILE: Fire fighter call outs – with map

TWO incidents of suspected arson and an accident were attended by Worthing fire fighters.

Garage torched

A FIRE in a domestic garage is being treated as arson by the fire service.

Four fire engines were sent to the blaze which broke out shortly after 7.30pm on Thursday (March 27) in Station Road, Worthing.

Car damaged

A CAR was severely damaged after arsonists set fire to it, according to the fire service.

The blaze broke out at around 6.45pm on Sunday (March 30) in Yeoman Way, Durrington.

Cut free

AN elderly woman ended up trapped inside a car after a collision involving two vehicles in Worthing.

Following the accident, just before 4.45pm in Downview Road on Sunday (March 30), the woman had to be helped free by the fire service.

She was then taken to hospital by paramedics.
