Police are seeking two Worthing street robbers who took a young man’s mobile and wallet in a New Year’s morning attack.

Shortly after 3am yesterday, on January 1, the 19-year old local man was walking home along Tarring Road when he was attacked by two men just outside West Worthing railway station. They punched him, pushed him to the ground and stole his mobile phone and wallet which contained a small amount of cash.

The victim sustained grazing and bruises and was shaken but did not seek medical treatment at the time, although he went to Worthing Hospital for treatment later in the morning.
