MORE than £1,000 was raised at the annual Minis by the Sea event.
Held every year in Steyne Gardens, Worthing, the classic car event is held to raise money for charity.
This year, it raised cash for St Barnabas House hospice and Chestnut Tree House children’s hospice. There were around 290 cars in attendance, although it was a little down on previous years when up to 400 vehicles had been known to take part.
Dickie Dowsett, chairman of West Sussex Mini Owners Club, said the event was a success.
