A WOMAN recovering from a major stroke has called the progress she has made in the last two weeks ‘miraculous’.

Irene Clark, 72, of Central Avenue, in Findon Valley, relied on two sticks to walk, had blurred vision and trouble speaking until she woke one morning ‘as if from a dream’ and found her recovery had made lots of progress.

Irene said: “It was a miracle. I woke up in the morning and I could see everything all in one go. I couldn’t get downstairs fast enough, it was really wonderful.
