THE mother of a seven-year-old girl who found a painting in a trolley outside a shop is trying to track down the artist behind it.

Anna Chadwick found the painting outside the Co-Op in Cricketers Parade, Broadwater Street West, after school on February 28.

Anna’s mum Angela, of Forest Road, Broadwater said: “Anna thought it was a lovely painting and so did I. Someone’s taken a lot of trouble.”

She added it might have been left by a child playing on outside the shop.

The name Sophie Silverson is written underneath the painting.
