PICTURES: New after-school club launches in Sompting

A NEW after-school club has been launched at Sompting Village Primary.

The Ofsted-registered club caters for up to 40 children a day when school finishes, and also during holidays.

It is run by Tic Toc Play, and is open from 3.30pm to 6.30pm during term time, and from 8am to 6.30pm throughout the holidays.

Tic Toc Play is a family-run business, started by husband and wife Richard and Linda Bennett.

Linda has 25-years' experience in childcare, and has managed clubs across the area, while Richard runs the office, dealing with accounts and paperwork, and using his IT knowledge.

Sompting Village Primary business manager Julie Dunn said: "This is another move in the direction of our school being the 'hub' of the community, now that we are an all-through primary.

"This will help many families in the community with childcare after school and in the school holidays."
