A LANCING man appeared before magistrates in Worthing charged with a string of eight offences incuding possession of an imitation firearm in a public place.
Andrew Clint, 35, of Hayley Road, Lancing, pleaded guilty to possession of 1.3g of amphetamine and 6g of cannabis and driving without insurance at Worthing Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, December 3.
He was also charged with possession of a flick knife, two lock knives, and an airsoft bb gun, to which he pleaded not guilty.
The court also heard that stolen goods including an iPhone and a laptop were found in Clint’s car when police searched it on June 3.
Clint pleaded not guilty to the two charges of theft and will next appear at Chichester Magistrates’ Court on February 25 at 10am.
He was released on unconditional bail.
