A donation from Sussex Police has enabled staff at Buddys Café in Worthing to buy new sensory equipment for children with learning difficulties.

As Chelsea Harman, of the charity, explained, the £200 has been put towards a good cause and she believed it would make a difference in assisting a number of youngsters which it works with.

She said: “We were grateful for the donation which has helped us get a sensory pop-up tent for the children. We have also just held a masked ball event at Brio restaurant in Worthing which raised £1,000 towards our activities. We’re hoping to be able to buy a caravan for our work.”
