Queen Alexandra Hospital Home in Boundary Road, Worthing, hosted a tea party for residents and visitors, some of whom served in the forces during the Second World War.

One of them was 90-year-old Doreen Edwards, who, aged 20, was a wireless operator based at Bulford on Salisbury Plain during the war.
