The Herald has teamed up with Worthing Borough Council to offer readers free town-centre parking.
On Tuesday, the council took back control of Worthing’s three town centre multi-storey car parks from NCP.
The council wants more people to use the car parks – High Street, Buckingham Road and Grafton – and has slashed prices to £1 per hour for up to five hours.
And as if that wasn’t enough, the Herald will be giving every reader of the paper the chance to park for free for two hours at the High Street multi-storey, next to the Guildbourne Centre, starting on Monday, the first day of the school Easter holidays.
There is no catch – simply cut out the coupon in this week’s paper, out today, then park in the High Street multi-storey car park, and go off and enjoy Worthing’s shops, restaurants or cafés, or do whatever you need to do in town.
When you return to the car park, take your voucher to the office on the ground floor and you will be given a ticket that will reduce the cost of your parking by £2 – if you have stayed for less than two hours, there will be no charge.
That means your 80p Herald – or 56p to subscribers, see www.localsubsplus.co.uk – gets you parking worth £2.
And there is nothing to stop people buying a copy of the paper every day so they can use the voucher for two hours’ free parking, or £2 off the cost if they are staying longer.
So, what are you waiting for? Pick up your copy of the Herald now, and enjoy this great offer while supporting your local shops.
