READERS' PHOTOGRAPHS: Worthing Race for Life

TWO groups of friends have raised hundreds of pounds for Cancer Research by taking part in Race for Life.

Helen Slaughter sent in a group photograph of the team Mums and Kids Unite, who managed to raise more than 200 by taking part in the event at Worthing Rugby Club, on Sunday, July 20.

Taking part for the first time were the midday meals supervisors and teaching assistants from Summerlea School in Windsor Drive, Rustington.

Sam Hills said: "What a fab time we all had. It was lovely reading everyones messages on the way round and quite touching.

"We hope to get more of us next year."
