Severe weather warnings for Herald and Gazette area

THE Met Office has issued a severe weather warning for the Herald and Gazette area for tomorrow (Thursday, December 15).

The yellow warning comes into force at 6pm tomorrow and finishes at midnight on Friday (December 16), with high winds predicted throughout.

The Met Office said: “There remains a risk of very strong winds and heavy rain moving eastwards.”

Readers are advised to take extra care, particularly when travelling.

Warnings may be upgraded.
